Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients through formal and informal assessments to determine speech, language, cognition, voice, and dysphagia needs.
- Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
- Provide direct therapy using various strategies in different settings.
- Coordinate care by communicating effectively with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Document evaluation results, treatment plans, progress notes, and reports.
- Participate in program development, clinical supervision, and educational activities.
Qualifications & Skills
- Active CCC-SLP from ASHA or licensed in the state of practice.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse age groups, from infants to geriatrics.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to confidentiality and adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
