Summary
Works under the supervision of a certified speech-language pathologist in implementation of services for students with speech, language, cognitive, voice, swallowing, oral, muscular, augmentative/alternative communication disorders, and hearing impairments.
Job Duties and Requirements
- Assesses students' speech, language, cognitive, voice, swallowing, oral, muscular, augmentative/alternative communication disorders, and hearing impairments.
- Develops and implements individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
- Provides direct therapy sessions to students.
- Collaborates with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
- Documents progress and communicates with supervising speech-language pathologist.
Pay
Starting rate of pay is $30.16 per hour plus benefits. Range 27 - ($30.16-$49.13) - Classified Salary Schedule.
