Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Responsibilities

• Provide direct individual and/or group speech therapy services as directed by the supervising SLP
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising SLP
• Accurately collect and document data on patient performance and progress
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation for billing and compliance purposes
• Maintain daily treatment notes and assist with progress reporting
• Support communication with caregivers as directed by the supervising SLP
• Participate in team meetings and case discussions as appropriate
• Maintain a safe, engaging, and therapeutic environment for patients
• Adhere to all Hopebridge policies, procedures, and clinical protocols
• Assist with problem-solving to improve efficiency within the center
• Maintain a positive attitude and support a collaborative team environment
• Attend required meetings and trainings
• Complete all assigned mandatory training modules
• Follow all state, federal and ASHA practice acts and regulations, including HIPAA

Requirements

• Must possess or be capable of obtaining and maintaining a CPR certification
• Required Education And Experience: Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or related field; Bachelor's degree preferred. Current SLPA license or certification as required by state regulations; must meet all applicable state and ASHA guidelines. Experience working with pediatric populations preferred

Pay

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
