Duties
- Work with our SLP team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals.
- Implement evidence-based speech therapy interventions, focusing on improving communication abilities.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, educators, and families to support patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about speech disorders and the therapeutic process.
- Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
Experience
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
- Experience working with pediatric populations is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech-language pathology.
- Familiarity with early intervention strategies and patient care practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and families.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
