Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments, utilizing a variety of evidenced-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Establish treatment goals, as well as develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based upon a full clinical evaluation.
  • Provide rehabilitative services to patients under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
  • Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate the plan of care for patients.
  • Treat residents one-on-one so each patient gets individualized attention through private treatment sessions with a functional-based treatment approach.
  • The ability to individualize treatment sessions!

Requirements

  • Desirable Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology school.
  • Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Proficiency in clinical evaluation and treatment planning.

Pay

USD $39.00 - USD $47.00 /Hr.

Schedule

Monday-Friday schedule with no weekend or holiday requirements.
