Speech Language Pathologist - Weekend Track - Sunnyview Rehab Hospital

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with cognitive linguistic disorders, communication disorders, dysphagia/swallowing disorders and voice/respiratory disorders.
• Identify and refer patients for related services (audiology, vocational, medical as appropriate).
• Assess patient's rehab needs through the continuum of care and provide appropriate disposition, equipment, education and treatment recommendations.
• Complete all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, regulatory and facility's compliance standards.
• Participate in initiatives to improve quality, care, productivity, policies and standards.

Requirements

• Graduate of an approved Speech Pathology Therapy program with a Master’s degree.
• Current NYS Speech Pathologist license and registration.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship year.
• Certified by the American Speech and Hearing Association.

Pay

Weekend Track rate: $61.00
Pay Range for non-weekend track schedule: $42.89-$55.52
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education.
Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates.
