About the role

You will evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders
  • Manage caseload documentation using electronic medical records
  • Experience working in skilled nursing facility environments preferred
  • Experience with dysphagia assessment and management and modified barium swallow (MBS) familiarity preferred

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
  • Active South Dakota state license or ability to obtain state license prior to assignment start
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC, if required by facility

Qualifications

  • Experience working in skilled nursing facility environments preferred
  • Experience with dysphagia assessment and management and modified barium swallow (MBS) familiarity preferred
  • Able to manage caseload documentation using electronic medical records preferred
