About the role
Provide evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders in a skilled nursing facility setting.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Document progress and outcomes in patient records.
- Adapt treatment approaches based on individual patient needs.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
- Active Michigan SLP license required to start the assignment.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
- Experience working in skilled nursing facility settings preferred.
- Experience with dysphagia evaluation and management preferred.

Schedule
Days 08:30–16:30, Monday–Friday, 5x8.
