About the role
Provide home health services to adult and pediatric patients to assess, evaluate, and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in home health or outpatient settings.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessments.
- Document progress and communicate with interdisciplinary teams as needed.
- Ensure patient safety and independence through skilled care provided in the home setting.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
- Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA preferred.
- Active Georgia license in Speech-Language Pathology required to start the assignment.
- Current CPR certification required.
- Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle required for daily travel to patient homes.
- Experience providing assessment and treatment for speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders in home health or outpatient settings preferred.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.

- Minimum education requirement: Master’s degree.

Benefits

Pay
- $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
Schedule
- Shift name: Days.
- Shift details: Days 0800-1600.
- Work days per week: 5.
- Shift start and end times: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (client listed 8AM-4:30PM).
- Travel required: Yes. Daily travel to multiple patient homes within the work shift.
