About the role
Miriam Learning Center is hiring a licensed Speech/Language Pathologist, PRN, for the 2026-2027 school year to perform speech/language evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Provide a comprehensive and professional assessment of each child's strengths and weaknesses as they relate to speech/language pathology issues.
- Write a comprehensive evaluation report summarizing findings and making appropriate recommendations.
- Meet with parents and/or school staff to provide feedback on test results and findings.
- Maintain contact with other professionals to ensure coordinated evaluation efforts.
- Submit billing and payroll in a timely manner.
- Perform any other duties as specified by the supervisor and/or school staff.
Qualifications
- Master's degree from an accredited school
- Licensed in the state of Missouri
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language- Hearing Association
- Experience in providing speech and language evaluations and treatment to children and/or adolescents in a school-based setting
