About the Role
The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for assessing, identifying, and remediating expressive communication disorders.
Responsibilities
- Assess students referred for a possible speech and language disorder.
- Provide individual and/or group therapy sessions for students with identified speech and language disorders.
- Develop individualized education plans and present them to parents, school administrators, and others involved with student evaluations.
- Consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
- Maintain accurate records for all students on the caseload.
- Provide reports of a student’s progress to parents.
- Organize student caseload and develop a schedule for each assigned school.
- Develop resource materials for use in speech and language development.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher.
- Valid California Speech Language Pathology Services Credential OR Clinical or Rehabilitative Services Credential authorizing service in Language, Speech, and Hearing.
- Detailed copy of your credential (screenshot from the CTC website including name, document number, authorization code, credential name and description, issue date, and expiration date).
- Copy of Transcript (All Undergraduate and Graduate coursework).
- Credential Copy (detailed screenshot from the CTC website OR a credential status letter from your university with an anticipated date of completion OR proof of credential application; credential must post by July 1, 2026).
- Letter of Introduction.
- Two (2) letters of recommendation (must be signed and dated within the last 24 months; only wet signatures and e-signatures accepted; letters from relatives are not acceptable).

Pay
Pay Range: $97,587 - $136,092 Annually
