About the role

Ascend Rehab Services seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support K–12 students in a school setting in the Antioch area while also serving in a mentorship and supervisory capacity for SLPAs and Clinical Fellows (CFs).

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a range of communication needs
  • Provide direct therapy services (individual and group) and support implementation of evidence-based interventions across school settings
  • Supervise, mentor, and collaborate with SLPAs, providing clinical guidance, support, and oversight to ensure quality service delivery and compliance
  • Provide Clinical Fellowship (CF) supervision, mentorship, feedback, and professional development support to emerging clinicians
  • Develop and implement IEP goals related to speech, language, social communication, pragmatics, and AAC needs as appropriate
  • Participate in IEP meetings, communicate with families, and collaborate closely with teachers, OTs, psychologists, and school staff to support student success
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, supervision requirements, and compliance with school and state guidelines

Requirements

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active CA SLP License (or eligibility)
  • Prior pediatric or school-based experience preferred
  • Passion for mentorship, collaboration, and supporting clinician growth

Qualifications

  • Experience or interest in supervising SLPAs and/or providing CF mentorship preferred

$90,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
