Speech Language Pathologist - St Elias Specialty Hospital
About the role
Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders. Develop, coordinate, and maintain Speech Language Pathology services in collaboration with healthcare professionals and patients/families. Assist in direct patient care and collaborate with other team members to plan and provide comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat patients with communication, cognition, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop, coordinate, and maintain Speech Language Pathology services in collaboration with physicians, primary partners, and patient/family.
- Aid in direct patient care.
- Collaborate with other team members to plan and provide important aspects of care, in compliance with standards and guidelines established by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Alaska Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
Qualifications

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
Schedule
Full time, 1.0 FTE, Day shift, 40 hours per week.
