Speech Language Pathologist / Speech Therapist / SLP / PRN

About the role

Broad River Rehab is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join their Pataskala, Ohio Skilled Nursing Facility. The position offers an occasional PRN schedule, including the possibility of consistent hours.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents following physician orders using various speech therapeutic procedures and assistive devices.
• Aim to maximize functional potential across all aspects of a resident's life.

Requirements

• Current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of employment.
• Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA Certification.
• One to two years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of employment.
• A Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• ASHA certification is necessary.
• One to two years of relevant experience are preferred.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of assistive devices and therapeutic procedures.
