About the role

The primary purpose of the position is providing and directly speech therapy services to patients which may include adult and/or geriatric persons. The goal of helping them reach their maximum performance potential within a medical model of practice shall occur.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
  • Assess and evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Ohio Speech Language Pathologist license required.
  • Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Qualifications

  • Dedication and commitment to patient care.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Skills

  • Knowledge of speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Pay

Competitive pay commensurate with experience.

Schedule

PRN (as needed) hours at a skilled nursing facility in Williamsburg, Ohio.
