About the Role
We are seeking a Per-Diem Speech Language Pathologist (SLP/ST) to provide therapy services in a beautiful senior living community, including assisted living, independent living, and memory care settings. This role may also involve working in our sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab department.
The success of our patients and residents relies on the success of our therapists. We are committed to providing the highest quality care to help those we treat reach their highest level of independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and compassionate therapy services in assisted living, independent living, memory care, and sub-acute/skilled nursing facility settings.
- Work collaboratively with other rehab therapists and nursing staff in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrate strong computer skills with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and experience with electronic documentation.
- Maintain good attention to detail and timeliness with documentation.
- Work well with others in a team setting and be flexible with hours.
Requirements
- Current Speech Language Pathology license or license eligibility to practice in the state of employment.
- Experience or willingness to work in senior living communities (assisted living, independent living, memory care) and sub-acute/skilled nursing rehab settings.
- Strong computer skills and experience with electronic documentation.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Flexibility with hours.
