Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – School-Based

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech, language, and communication evaluations for middle school students.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals.
• Provide individual and group speech-language therapy services.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, administrators, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student success plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with state and district requirements.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Support students with articulation, language, fluency, voice, and social communication needs.

Qualifications

• An active Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist Certification is required.
• CFY candidates are encouraged to apply.
• SLP-CCC preferred, but not required.
• School-based or pediatric experience is a plus.

Schedule

Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week. Assignment runs August 19, 2026 – June 10, 2027 (full school year).
