Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out speech and language evaluations and assessments.
  • Create and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy services.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
  • Communicate effectively with families, teachers, and administrators.
  • Maintain and monitor student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
  • Serve as a liaison between the school and home to ensure consistent communication.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and professional practice standards.

  • Caseload: Approximately 25-35 Students
  • Medical Support Level: Level 3
  • Behavioral Support Level: Medium

Qualifications

  • Active Ohio Speech-Language Pathologist License.
  • Ability to meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with educational teams and families.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Have school-based pediatric experience preferred.
  • Current CPR certification if applicable.
  • Current Health Certificate if required.
  • TB Questionnaire, PPD, or Chest X-Ray if required.

Compensation

  • Local SLP: $65.00 per hour
  • Estimated Weekly Gross: $2,600
  • Travel SLP: $38.00 per hour
  • Housing Stipend: $1,113/week
  • Meals & Incidentals Stipend: $560/week
  • Estimated Weekly Package: $3,193
