Start date: ASAP. Location: 100% remote, serving K-12 students in Indiana.

About the role

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual speech and language therapy services to PreK-12 students. You will conduct assessments, develop individualized therapy plans, deliver direct therapy, and collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to support students’ communication goals.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational teams to integrate communication goals into classroom settings.
  • Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into sessions to promote speech and language development.
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input on students' speech and language needs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Indiana.
  • Current ASHA certification.
  • Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Experience in teletherapy (preferred).
  • Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and assistive technology (preferred).
