About the role

We are seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote speech and language therapy services to K–12 students in Missouri for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a fee-for-service position with flexible caseload-building opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services targeting articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and educational team members to support students' communication goals.
  • Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into sessions to promote speech and language development.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed.
  • Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Missouri.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
  • Previous experience working as a speech-language pathologist in a school or educational setting.
  • Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and therapy techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in assessment, therapy planning, and documentation.
  • Experience in teletherapy or online speech-language therapy services (preferred).
  • Certification or proficiency in a second language (e.g., Spanish, Mandarin) is a plus.

Physical Requirements

This is a remote position. The employee is regularly required to sit for extended periods and use a computer keyboard and mouse. Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing. Occasionally, the employee may need to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
