Job Summary

Make a Meaningful Impact as a Speech-Language Pathologist (Per Diem) Location: Asbury Solomons, MD

What You'll Do

• Provide speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing evaluations and treatment
• Help residents maintain communication abilities, cognitive function, safe swallowing, and overall quality of life
• Support residents in staying connected to the people, activities, and conversations that matter most to them
• Build meaningful, lasting relationships while supporting residents' communication, cognition, and independence
• Deliver care in an environment that values outcomes over volume
• Document patient progress using Net Health and facility systems
• Partner with residents, families, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members to communicate goals and progress
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused therapy culture
• Bring professionalism, compassion, and kindness to every interaction

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program
• Active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license in good standing
• American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) CCC-SLP preferred
• A genuine passion for working with older adults
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
• A flexible, team-oriented approach to patient care

Pay Range

$60 - $65 per hour
