Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - Per Diem

About the role

This position requires the ability to pick up shifts at both our Sylvania and Oregon locations, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Takes initiative, responsibility, and action every day
• Evaluates communication skills and/or swallowing function
• Provides goal-oriented treatment to facilitate maximum communication and/or swallowing potential
• Maintains an adequate stock of supplies
• Shares professional knowledge and experiences
• Alerts the Manager to educational needs

Requirements

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment

Qualifications

• Understanding of communication skills, evaluation, and treatment
• Desire to work in collaboration with associates
• Knowledge of physical, mental, psychological, and social needs of patients

• Effective communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Benefits

• Part time/Per Diem positions are eligible for 401k based on reaching 1,000 hours within their first anniversary or subsequent calendar year

Pay

• $51 per hour
