Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) In House (FT PT or PRN)

About the Role

Evolve Therapy Services is hiring compassionate therapists for our partner located in Newport, TN. This position involves planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility, ensuring the highest degree of quality resident care in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals as appropriate, following established standards, department procedures, and productivity standards.
• Evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans that include target lists, short-term, and long-term goals.
• Instruct patients, families, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to ensure carry-over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities.
• Complete compliant and medically necessary documentation per CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems.
• Oversee and implement proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs.
• Participate in screening protocols to ensure resident needs are met timely and with clinical excellence.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Certificate of Clinical Competency (CCC).
• Active SLP license in the state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure and certification.
