Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) – Hybrid School Opportunity – San Marcos, TX

About the role

Amergis Educational Staffing is seeking 3 Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a supportive school district in San Marcos, TX. The position details include: Location: San Marcos, TX, Openings: 3, Start Date: ASAP, Duration: 36 Weeks, Schedule: 37.5 Hours Per Week, and Setting: School-Based.

The Speech-Language Pathologist in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations as well as providing and documenting therapy services in accordance with the plan of care developed for each individual student and the physician's orders.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech and language evaluations
• Provide individual and group therapy services
• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings
• Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education teams
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Active Texas SLP License
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills
• School-based experience preferred
• Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Licensure in the state of assignment required
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by state/contract
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
