Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) - School Based

(a Powerback Pediatrics company) has been serving the educational and developmental needs of pediatric populations throughout Long Island and the five boroughs of New York City. Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services to children in the school setting.
• Perform evaluations and assessments and track child progress.
• Deliver Speech Therapy services as mandated in the IEP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support the goals of each child.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.

Requirements

• Must possess a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or a similarly titled area consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
• Must possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CF status).
• Must be licensed, certified, or credentialed as required in the state of practice.

Pay

USD $70.00 - USD $90.00 per hour.
