Speech Language Pathologist - SLP - CCC - Part Time

About the role

The primary purpose of the position is providing and directly speech therapy services to patients which may include adult and/or geriatric persons. The goal of helping them reach their maximum performance potential within a medical model of practice shall occur.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to patients in a continuing care retirement community setting.
• Assess and evaluate patients' speech and language needs.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Document progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in South Carolina.
• Experience working with adult and/or geriatric populations preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate the needs of the patients.
