Speech Language Pathologist - SLP - CCC - Part Time (Part Time)

About the role

The primary purpose of the position is providing and directly speech therapy services to patients which may include adult and/or geriatric persons. The goal of helping them reach their maximum performance potential within a medical model of practice shall occur.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to patients in a continuing care retirement community setting.
• Assess and evaluate patients' speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document progress notes and treatment sessions accurately and timely.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist in South Carolina.
• Current CPR certification.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting preferred but not required.
