Responsibilities
- Assess and identify the speech therapy needs of patients with cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Collaborate with center staff to provide comprehensive care and support to patients
- Conduct speech therapy sessions to improve patients' communication skills, cognitive abilities, and swallowing function
- Document patient progress and outcomes, and maintain accurate records of treatment plans and evaluations
Requirements
- Licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience in speech therapy with older adults is preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
