Responsibilities
- Takes initiative, responsibility, and action every day
- Evaluates communication skills and/or swallowing function
- Provides goal-oriented treatment to maximize communication and/or swallowing potential
- Maintains an adequate stock of supplies
- Shares professional knowledge and experiences
- Alerts the Manager to educational needs
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist
- Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment
Qualifications
- Desire to work in collaboration with associates
- Understanding of physical, mental, psychological, and social needs of patients
- Experience in providing comprehensive evaluations and treatment plans
- Knowledge of rehabilitation therapy and interdisciplinary patient programming
