Responsibilities

  • Deliver effective and efficient speech-language pathology services to patients.
  • Design and execute individualized treatment plans to restore, reinforce, and enhance communication and swallowing abilities.
  • Address the whole patient as an individual, tailoring programs to their specific needs.
  • Adapt to varied patient needs and work settings with flexibility and enthusiasm.
  • Collaborate with peers and make referrals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.
  • Perform related tasks such as cleaning equipment, reporting, and attending meetings.

Qualifications

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders, or a similarly-titled area consistent with ASHA standards.
  • A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow. Candidates eligible to obtain the Certificate of Clinical Competence are also accepted.
  • Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required by the state of practice.

Pay

Posted salary range: USD $43.00 - USD $50.00 per hour. Sign-on bonus: USD $25,000.00.
