About the role

Personal Touch Home Care is expanding our Special Needs Program and seeking compassionate Speech Language Pathologists who are passionate about delivering high-quality care in the home setting. We are currently hiring a full-time SLP to provide home-based care throughout Manhattan & the Bronx to support our growing pediatric and adult caseloads.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
  • Provide therapy to individuals of all ages, addressing issues such as articulation, fluency, voice, and language.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families about communication strategies and home exercises.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech therapy.

Qualifications

  • Active New York State Speech Language Pathologist license required.
  • Graduate of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Home care experience preferred, but not required.
  • Experience with pediatric, adult, special needs, or geriatric populations is a plus.

Pay

The pay for this position is $110,000.00-$115,000.00 annually.
