About the role

Join our team and help students write their new story. As a Speech Language Pathologist at New Story Schools, you’ll empower students to find their voice, build communication skills, and gain confidence.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that align with IEP goals
  • Partner with multidisciplinary teams and families to deliver targeted speech-language therapy
  • Monitor progress, adjust plans, and maintain clear documentation of student growth
  • Create and evaluate IEP goals and provide data-driven updates for ongoing support
  • Use behavior management and engagement strategies to create a positive learning environment

Requirements

  • Master’s degree from an accredited academic program in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Active ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
  • Experience working in a school or clinical setting with students who have special needs
  • Knowledge of Individualized Education Plan (IEP) development and implementation
  • Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
