Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

About the role

As a Home Health SLP for Interim HealthCare®, you’ll help patients find hope and healing through home-based speech therapy designed to overcome their challenges and increase their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to patients in their homes
• Assess and evaluate patients' speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Document progress and communicate with referring physicians and other healthcare providers
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and insurance requirements

Requirements

• Current License or Certification as a Speech Therapist
• Education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology granted by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association OR meets the educational requirements for certification and is in the process of accumulating the supervised experience required for certification
• In the last five (5) years, two (2) years of experience as a speech therapist that is relevant to the patient population assigned
• CPR BLS Certification

Qualifications

Applicants must reside in the state of Maine.
