Speech Language Pathologist Job Duties
- Provide efficient speech or swallow evaluations and/or screens of patients
- Develop plan of care, downgrade/upgrade as appropriate, manage meal texture
- Provide quality therapy services to individuals in an SNF setting, who require care related to TBI, CVA, Stroke, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Cancer, orthopedic surgery, and other debilitating diagnosis.
- Monitor and document patient progress with the use of innovative EMR software.
Speech Language Pathologists Requirements
- Current NYS SLP License and Registration
- Clinical Competence Certification (CCC)
- CPR Certificate
- EMR Competence
- Met all State and Federal requirements for US employment in a Nursing Facility
- Malpractice/Liability Insurance (if applicable)
Pay
- Hourly Pay Rate: $48 Hourly (W-2), $61 Hourly (1099)
