Essential Job Functions
- Evaluate patients/clients; develop a plan of care with associated goals, including quantifiable speech and language outcome targets
- Provide diagnosis, treatment, instruction, and other speech and language services according to the scope of practice limitations per State statute
Qualifications
- A graduate of an approved Speech-Language & Hearing Pathology program and is eligible to pursue and apply for a certificate of clinical competence in speech-language and audiology granted by the ASHA
- A person licensed to practice Speech-Language & Audiology in Texas
- A person who demonstrates the physical and mental capabilities (practical &/or written, post-training competency test) to perform the duties required of the position
- Pediatric experience preferred
