The Role

  • Deliver Care Aligned With Our Patient Centered Values

  • Assess, Diagnose And Treat a Wide Range Of Speech Language, Cognitive Communication, Voice, Swallowing And Fluency Disorder

  • Through Evaluation of patients and development of individualized treatment plans including ongoing assessment and discharge planning

  • Collaborate with patients, families and the interdisciplinary team to support care goals and optimize outcomes

  • Maintain accurate documentation while promoting a safe, compliant care environment aligned with safety and infection prevention standards

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Speech Language Pathology or equivalent

  • Current state Licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist

  • BLS/CPR Certification required

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs) from ASHA or Clinical Fellowship Year Status is required for this position

Physical Requirements

  • A significant amount of standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling, often for prolonged periods of time

  • Both gross and precise motor functions

  • Lifting/exerting of up to 50 lbs

  • Exposure to bodily fluids

  • Visual acuity required for patient assessment and documentation of care

  • Acute hearing required for accurate patient assessment

  • Sufficient manual dexterity to operate equipment and computer keyboard

  • Close vision and the ability to adjust focus
