Role Overview: The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) provides direct speech therapy rehabilitation to patients based on physician referrals, adhering to all legal, regulatory, and standards guidelines. Responsibilities include: Establishing, assessing, and modifying patient goals; following treatment plans; documenting therapy sessions; utilizing therapy software; collaborating with interdisciplinary teams; and ensuring patient safety and rights. Qualifications and Skills: Must have a graduate degree in speech therapy (MS or MA), be ASHA certified or eligible for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), and hold an active state license. Experience is preferred but new grads are welcome. CPR certification required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and good communication skills are essential. Demonstrates professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to policies. Key Duties: Oversee and evaluate care (for CCCs), follow treatment plans (for CFYs), maintain accurate documentation, provide excellent patient service, and participate in community health initiatives. Must be physically capable of performing typical clinical activities and working effectively within a team.
