Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders in individuals with various levels of cognitive and physical impairment
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote optimal communication and independence
• Conduct speech therapy sessions, including individual and group therapy, and provide feedback to residents and families
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and nurses, to develop comprehensive plans of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure the highest level of care and service

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Active license as a Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) in the state of Missouri
