Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

About the Role

As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at Aspire Senior Living Carthage, you will be responsible for providing speech-language pathology services to our residents, including assessment, treatment, and consultation. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care that promote optimal communication, cognition, and swallowing skills. You will also collaborate with family members, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' communication, cognition, and swallowing skills
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address residents' goals and needs
• Provide speech-language therapy services to residents, including direct treatment and consultation
• Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident assessments, treatment, and progress
• Participate in staff development and education programs to stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology
