Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled services to assist patients with breathing, speaking, and swallowing functions.
• Evaluate and treat speech, language, cognitive, and fluency disorders that affect communication.
• Serve as an educator, patient advocate, and a member of the interdisciplinary care team.

Requirements

• Current unrestricted CA Speech Therapist License.
• Current BLS/CPR Certification.
• Valid CA Driver's License.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and understanding of individual development and human behavior as it relates to the effects of illness/injury.
• Knowledge of state and federal homecare regulatory guidelines (preferred).
• Experience home health care (highly preferred).
• Experience with high acuity patients (plus).
• Experience working with an interdisciplinary team (highly desired).
• Case Management fundamentals (desired).

Pay

Anticipated Wage Range: Speech Therapist: $110,000.00 - $125,000.00. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
