Speech Language Pathologist - Schools
Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students in a school-based setting. The SLP will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, provide therapy services, and maintain accurate documentation in accordance with student needs, physician orders, and applicable educational requirements.
Responsibilities
- Congduct speech and language evaluations for students.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services.
- Document treatment sessions, progress, and outcomes.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Maintain compliance with all state, federal, and professional practice standards.
Minimum Requirements
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment.
- CCC-SLP preferred (may be required based on state or contract requirements).
- Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Current CPR certification (if applicable).
- TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray (if applicable).
- Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulations).
- Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Compensation
- Position Type: Local
- Pay Rate: $60/hour
