Amergis is seeking dedicated and passionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join a supportive school district in Richmond, Minnesota for the 2026-2027 school year. These full-time, in-person positions offer an excellent opportunity to work directly with students, collaborate with educational teams, and help children achieve meaningful communication and academic success.

Available Positions

  • High School Speech-Language Pathologist
    • Full school year assignment
    • Caseload: Approximately 50-54 students
    • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Middle School / Dual Language Elementary Speech-Language Pathologist
    • Assignment through at least December 14, 2026
    • Caseload: Approximately 50-54 students
    • Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Responsibilities

  • Conduct speech, language, voice, and fluency evaluations
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
  • Monitor student outcomes and adjust treatment plans as needed
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, district, and professional standards
  • Support students in accessing the educational curriculum through effective communication strategies

Requirements

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the State of Minnesota or ability to obtain licensure before start date

Qualifications

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) (preferred)
  • Previous school-based experience (preferred)
  • Experience working with middle school, elementary, or high school populations (preferred)
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and special education services (preferred)

Pay

$70/hour

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week
  • Full school year duration
