Speech-Language Pathologist - School-Based

Job Summary We are seeking a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services for students aged 3-21 with communication, feeding, and developmental challenges within the school environment. Key Responsibilities Implement individualized treatment plans targeting functional outcomes aligned with IEPs.Collaborate with educators, therapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.Assess, document, and monitor student progress through formal and informal evaluations.Prepare reports and set goals for annual reviews in compliance with state and IEP requirements.Participate in school meetings such as IEPs, reviews, and referrals.Conduct screenings and evaluations to determine the need for speech therapy and augmentative communication devices. Qualifications & Skills Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.Eligibility for or possession of ASHA certification and state licensure.CPR certification and ISBE Professional Educator License required.Experience with pediatric populations preferred.Strong communication, organizational, and professional skills.Ability to manage high caseloads with professionalism and empathy.
