Speech-Language Pathologist - School-Based

About the Role

We are seeking a School-Based Speech Language Pathologist to provide therapy services for students aged 3-21 with communication, feeding, and developmental challenges within the school environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans targeting functional outcomes aligned with IEPs.
• Collaborate with educators, therapists, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Assess, document, and monitor student progress through formal and informal evaluations.
• Prepare reports and set goals for annual reviews in compliance with state and IEP requirements.
• Participate in school meetings such as IEPs, reviews, and referrals.
• Conduct screenings and evaluations to determine the need for speech therapy and augmentative communication devices.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
• Eligibility for or possession of ASHA certification and state licensure.
• CPR certification and ISBE Professional Educator License required.
• Experience with pediatric populations preferred.
