Speech-Language Pathologist (School-Based)

Location: Philadelphia, PA • Full-time • Flexible schedule

About the role

We are seeking a School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide speech and language therapy services for K-12 students. The SLP will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders while working closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students succeed academically and socially.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy based on students' IEPs.
• Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable IEP goals.
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, psychologists, occupational therapists, and other providers.
• Provide guidance and communication strategies to school staff and families.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and school regulations.

Requirements

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Active Pennsylvania SLP License.
• Experience working with school-aged children.
• Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
