About us
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Consulting Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic healthcare team. The position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives by providing exceptional speech and language services in a school setting for the 25-26 school year.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' speech and language disorders and develop individualized treatment plans to address identified needs.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students according to their individual treatment plans.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to implement strategies that support students' communication skills in the classroom and at home.
- Conduct regular progress monitoring and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure students are making progress toward their speech and language goals.
- Provide consultation and training to school staff and parents on how to support students' communication skills in the classroom and at home.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and plan for their future needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of students' progress, treatment plans, and services provided.
Requirements
- A Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited institution.
- A current and valid state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a school setting.
- Exceptional knowledge of speech and language development and disorders, as well as effective treatment strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with students, parents, and school staff.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- A commitment to continued professional development and staying current with the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology.
