About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Consulting Speech Language Pathologist to join our innovative healthcare team. This role involves providing exceptional speech and language therapy services to a diverse student population within a school setting for the 25-26 school year. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of a wide range of speech disorders and language impairments and will be passionate about helping students overcome their challenges and reach their full potential. Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' speech and language skills, and identify areas of improvement.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address students' specific needs and goals.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students using evidence-based techniques and strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom and at home.
• Track and document students' progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Provide education and training to school staff and parents on how to support students' speech and language development.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss students' progress and plan for their future needs.
• Stay updated with the latest research and developments in speech-language pathology to ensure the use of best practices.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
• A valid Colorado State SLP license.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting.
• Excellent knowledge of various speech disorders and language impairments, as well as effective treatment strategies.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to conduct comprehensive evaluations.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• A strong commitment to improving students' speech and language skills, and helping them achieve their goals.
• The ability to work independently, manage a caseload effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in using computer software and technology for documentation and communication.
