About the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Consulting Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to determine students' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to provide strategies and resources that promote speech and language development.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with speech and language impairments.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of students' progress, treatment plans, and consultations.
• Provide training and professional development to school staff on topics related to speech and language development.
• Stay informed of the latest research and best practices in speech-language pathology and incorporate this knowledge into practice.
• Adhere to all federal, state, and school policies and regulations related to speech-language pathology services.

Qualifications

• A valid SC SLP license and educator certificate.
• A minimum of 1 years of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, preferably in a school setting.
• Exceptional knowledge of speech and language development and disorders.
• Experience with various assessment tools and techniques for diagnosing speech and language impairments.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing effective treatment plans.
• Strong consultation and collaboration skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
