Speech Language Pathologist - Rigby, ID - 2026/2027 SY
School-based Speech Language Pathologist Position
Serving a caseload of approximately 50 students, the selected candidate will work alongside an experienced paraprofessional and collaborate with school teams to provide speech and language services to students. Services will primarily be provided at the elementary school, with support at the middle school approximately one day per week.
Minimum Requirements
License: Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment
Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field; CCC-SLP preferred
Experience: School-based or pediatric experience preferred
About the Role

Responsibilities
Provide speech and language therapy services to students
Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
Assess and evaluate student progress in speech and language skills
Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment results
Conduct group and individual therapy sessions
Participate in team meetings and IEP reviews
Requirements
License: Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of assignment
Education: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field; CCC-SLP preferred
Experience: School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Active SLP license in the state of assignment
Experience working in a school or pediatric setting
Skills
Strong clinical skills in speech and language therapy
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of educational assessments and interventions
Proficiency in using speech and language assessment tools
