About the role
The Speech Language Pathologist position at the Hawai‘i Pacific Health Research Institute (HPHRI) focuses on providing life-changing rehabilitative and therapeutic services in the form of speech-language therapy and consolation for inpatients and outpatients at medical center locations and contract sites. This role is part of a dedicated team managing a wide range of research projects and rehabilitation services.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy and consolation to inpatients and outpatients
- Ensure patient safety in all aspects of research
- Contribute to the advancement of health prevention through research
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care
Requirements
- American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification
- Current Hawai‘i Speech Language Pathologist license
- Current American Heart Association Heart Saver – AED CPR card
Qualifications
- One (1) year general speech language pathology experience preferred
