About the role

A Speech-Language Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, swallowing, and related disorders.

Responsibilities

  • Perform evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and adjust therapy techniques based on patient progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure safety standards.
  • Provide education and training to patients, families, and caregivers about diagnoses, treatment goals, and long-term outcomes.
  • Document assessments, treatment plans, and progress accurately and timely per departmental policies.
  • Supervise and mentor Speech Pathology students, Clinical Fellowship Candidates, and therapy aides, offering performance feedback.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, training, and adhere to policies and regulations.
  • Support departmental and organizational initiatives, maintain productivity standards, and manage equipment and supplies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Licensure from the relevant licensing board or SLP Compact Commission.
  • BLS certification.
  • Strong clinical competency, interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively within a team.
